This is a course where you will have a chance to explore how the Media Industry operates - a close look at the world of film, television, radio, newspaper, the net and new electronic media. You will need to be interested in all these areas and be prepared to watch and listen and read about how the Media operates. In addition to studying the Media you will be asked to produce two pieces of coursework where you use film/photography/sound/computer media to produce a project. You will be taught through a mixture of teacher-led sessions, group discussion and analysis, research and practical projects.
