You will gain the necessary skills to enable to apply for a range of courses at university including Midwifery, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Radiography, Physiotherapy, ODP, Paramedic and Occupational Therapy. You will learn with other students who wish to progress in to the nursing professions and have dedicated, specialist tutors teaching you. We have a VLE and within the college have several learning zones and libraries. This is a course that needs dedication and commitment for the full year as the study is intense. Learning takes various forms including taught sessions, self-directed study, group work and limited supervision sessions. We have a variety of speakers from local universities who came and talk about the courses and entry requirements. We also invite them to come and discuss interview techniques with the students. We also get speakers from the various health professions to talk to students about what their role involves. Local voluntary and community groups also offer talks about the local volunteering opportunities which can help you enhance your career options.
