Sport: Performance and Excellence (Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma/Extended Certificate)

This course is designed for elite level footballers who are motivated to gain employment in the football and sport industry. As part of your application, you will be required to attend a football trial before your interview which will help determine your suitability for the course. This course combines academic and practical study in a broad spectrum of disciplines in sport that will help you achieve your goals. There are excellent opportunities to gain experience in a range of roles at local, national and international sporting events. The course includes practical BTEC units which aim to develop your sport and exercise leadership abilities as well as your own match fitness. Other units develop your academic knowledge to help you understand all aspects of sport performance. Further units help provide an insight into the support services in the football and sport industry.
