Photography and Interactive Media (Level 1)

This course is for 16-18 year olds and combines the creative and technical areas of Photography and Interactive Media. You will be studying them side by side to learn a breadth of skills in a well-equipped, purpose-built department that includes studios, IT suites and a darkroom. Specialist tutors will guide and instruct you to produce a variety of digital and traditional creative outputs. Subjects may include: Photographic Equipment, Processes and Techniques; Creative Camera Techniques; Photographic Images for Presentation; Experimental Photographic Images; Lighting for Photography; Video Production, Processes and Techniques; Editing Audio and Video for Interactive Media; Web Design; Sound Recording Techniques and Technology; Animation Processes and Techniques; Functional Skills in English and Maths.

Materials used on the course can be ordered from the Photography Department. It is advised that you purchase a removable hard drive to back up your digital work.
