The course combines practical activities such as rangoli designs, papier-mache and making play dough. These lessons help the student to explore how children develop, and the benefit that these and many other activities may have on them.
Name: Introducing Caring for Children and Young People Level 2 Certificate Qualification title: Diploma in Child Care and Education Qualification type: Assessment Through various methods including reflections on your practical work, (you will attend a nursery placement for one day a week in the spring and summer term). You will also write short essays and build a portfolio using work produced in class. There is no exam for this course. By the end of the course your work will also go towards achieving the Award in babysitting and an Award in parenting skills.
