Graphic communication is an exciting, dynamic, continually evolving field. On this course you will be taught the design process through a series of tutorials, lectures and practical workshops in designing, drawing, illustration and typography. In parallel with this you be taught and trained in the use of design and multimedia software. You will be introduced to a range of graphic subjects such as illustration, letterforms, packaging design, web design and animation. The course will nurture and encourage innovative, in depth thinking to enable you to find your own voice and way of working within the broad scope of graphic communication. This course is a suitable foundation for students interested in progressing on to an applied art degree. Students may progress to degrees in art and design via our full time Foundation Diploma in Art & Design course.
