Dance: General

The BTEC course will be delivered mainly through practical work. It will develop students' skills and understanding in the technical and expressive skills essential to solo and group performance in a range of different dance styles including contemporary and street dance. Students will learn the process and craft of choreography. They will develop skills in critical appreciation through analysis and comparison of professional dance works from a range of genres and contexts.
