This is a combination of both the Digital Media and Media Production course. Media Production: Year 1 will involve the understanding of major production companies and how films are produced and marketed. You will then study photography and magazine production. Year 2 will involve producing a high quality digital film production along with sound recording techniques. This will involve using complex industry standard software. This course will involve written work to back-up your production skills. Digital Media: This qualification offers understanding by empowering students to work with media products, production processes and technologies. This leads to practical and creative skills that transfer into the workplace. Year 1 will involve the understanding of major production companies and how films are produced and marketed. You will then study graphic design and animation. In year 2 you will produce a short animated film. This will involve using complex industry standard software. This course will involve written work to back-up your production skills.
