During the course you will explore Contemporary craft techniques, applique, patchwork and textile manipulation. Draw and design from a still life studio set-up to produce an original Idea to make a textile piece. You will build up your confidence in your ability to translate your Ideas into a crafted piece. Learn through demonstrations and practical work with helo and guidance from the turor including, researching artist and designers and the design process. This course is suitable for beginners or refreshers and will develop the skills needed for becoming more independent as a textile practitioner or sewing for pleasure.
