A Course for: Those who wish to progress to a Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy. The programme of study will require the successful completion of the following 13 units for the full Level 2: Apply make-up, Facial skin care, Waxing techniques, Pedicure treatments, Manicure treatments, Salon reception duties, Create nail art designs, Eyelash and brow treatments, Client care and communication, Health and safety practice in the salon, Working in the beauty related industries, Promote products and services to clients in a salon, Create an image based on a theme within the hair & beauty Sector. Entry requirements: 4 GCSE A to D grades to include English and Maths or a Level 1 qualification in Beauty Therapy. An informal interview is required for each candidate before acceptance to ensure you benefit from and successfully complete the chosen programme of study. Level 2 will suit you if you are new to Beauty Therapy or have some knowledge and basic skills in the industry. You may want to increase your skills or to take on more responsibility to start your first job. You will benefit from practical learning in Mosaic, our commercial Beauty salon, which simulates a real work environment. You may also have the opportunity to undertake additional qualifications, enter competitions and visit a Beauty exhibition. Enrichment activities are a part of your development on course and are an exciting opportunity to expand your knowledge in additional subjects which will make you more employable in the industry. (Some workshops may incur an additional cost).
