IT User skills will develop your skills and understanding of ICT. If you have chosen ICT as a career the programme will give you the skills employer’s require. On completion you can progress onto higher level qualifications at level 3, level 4 or level 5. This qualification comprises of three mandatory unit’s and a wide range of optional units which are individually selected to ensure your qualification is tailored to meets the needs of industry including: Improving productivity using IT Using the Internet Using Email Word Processing Desktop Publishing Software Database Software Presentation Software You will learn at our training centre within a realistic working environment. You will have access to different types of devices such as laptop’s, desktops and tablets. Your understanding of theory will be tested by the completion of online tests. Your tutors have an excellent knowledge of the subject and will give you support throughout the qualification. At ATL we use an on line portfolio system. A work placement is required 1 day per week to develop your knowledge and understanding and gain work based experience. The course can be completed as part of an intermediate Apprenticeship moving onto advanced and higher Apprenticeships.
