If you enjoy reading and think it's important, it is worth considering Advanced Level Literature. An interest in what writers think about people, their relationships and their response to life is one of the basic reasons for studying Literature. A further reason is the satisfaction which derives from understanding how a text is put together; how meaning is created. When you read widely, it is enriching to compare different writers' visions of life, and to understand how these views relate to their particular society.
