AS Unit 2 - externally set assignment worth 25% of the A level. Second year of course: Candidates are required to build upon the knowledge, understanding and skills gained in AS with greater depth of study. A2 Unit 3 - Personal Investigation (which includes a 1,000-3,000 word essay) worth 25% of the A level. A2 Unit 4 -Externally set assignment worth 25% of the A level.
