These courses have been designed to provide a route into, and develop skills in the games industry. From the start you will be designing and developing games and be encouraged to 'play', to question the nature of games and express the ideas you formulate through your personal project work. The course provides a strong visual and creative base supported by digital modelling, set within the framework of games development. Topics on this course include: Course Structure The course is made up of 12 units of study which are mostly integrated together and studied via assignments and set tasks. All grading criteria in the 12 units must be achieved at least to Pass level in order to achieve your full Extended Diploma and requires a Merit for progression onto a Level 3 course. Two units are externally assessed via a test scenario.
