It Users (ITQ) - Level 1 Certificate is a versatile range of IT skills using units from the CLAiT suite. This course is held at Morecambe Learning Centre. The course is suitable for people with little experience of computers who want to use them either in the home or in the work place. You will complete three of the following units of your choice: * Improving Productivity * Word Processing Software * Spreadsheet Software * Database Software * Desktop Publishing Software * Presentation Software * Imaging Software * Website Software * Using Email * Using the Internet All students aged 16 -19 are required to study Functional English and Maths qualifications or GCSE mathematics and English if not already awarded a grade A*-C in these subjects. If you have a grade D at GCSE you will study maths and/or English GCSE. Students with a grade lower than D will work towards GCSE through the study of Maths & English Functional Skills. Students aged 19+ are strongly encouraged to take relevant maths and English qualifications to support progression into further or higher education, training or employment.
