Safe use of Abrasive Wheels

UPDATED 20161104 12:34:56

For employees who use abrasive wheels the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 places a requirement on users to be competent in their use. Nearly half of all accidents involving abrasive wheels are due to an unsafe system of work or operator error (source HSE). This course will cover the use and safety requirements covering basic hand held grinding equipment and bench grinders. A certificate will be issued indicating attendance and successful assessment.
