Competence in a language is a sought after skill in the workplace. With a language, you will stand out from the crowd. You may find yourself living abroad, travelling for work or dealing with international colleagues and customers in this country. The A level course covers a variety of interesting topics covering culture, history, literature, society, the environment and lifestyle. You will work on developing your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and will have dedicated time with the Foreign Language Assistant. You could study any subject at university with German as one of your A levels. You can continue your German studies at University by opting for German Single Honours or combining with any other subject for a Joint Honours degree
