The Royal Academy of Engineering commissioned a report that found that British industry will need 100,000 new graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics subjects every year until 2020 just to maintain current employment numbers. This helps to make engineering an attractive option as a future career. You will be assessed through a mixture of coursework, set by the teacher and the exam board, as all as a written exam.
