Over the course of two years you will study two projects per year, one per unit. The theme of these projects changes every year, depending on the theme set by the teacher for the first unit and the theme given to you by the exam board for the second unit. How you develop the theme is completely student driven and therefore each interpretation is unique and different to the individual. This independence promoted in art and design is a skill which is highly valued and which is less developed in the majority of other subjects.
