The ab initio course will enable you to start a new language. You will be focussed mainly on acquiring the language and handling it in a range of situations and contexts, with the emphasis on social interchange. You will be introduced to the culture of Italy, rich and exciting as it is. By the end of the two-year course you will be able to communicate effectively in the spoken and written word, allowing you to deal with familiar and practical needs. The course provides a firm foundation for further study of Italian.
