Explore two millennia of the history of an unruly idea, intertwining philosophy, theology and mathematics. Span two millennia, from Zeno's paradoxes to Godel's celebrated incompleteness theorem and the continuum hypothesis. This course assumes you are familiar with material covered in the preparatory course, 'Philosophy & history of maths: a brief introduction'. If you have not attended the latter, you will need to complete an assessment.
