This Level 3 programme is designed for individuals with a keen interest in sport particularly in understanding how a range of components work closely together to ensure and develop optimum sporting performance of themselves or other athletes. This course will increase your knowledge and skills across a range of sport-related units including - Anatomy & Physiology - Sports Nutrition - Sports Psychology - Technical & Tactical Skills - Athletes Lifestyle - Practical Sport Fitness Testing & Training You will start off on a one year programme studying 90 credits (equivalent to 1.5 A-Levels). Upon successful completion of year one you will then have the opportunity to progress onto the second year completing a further 90 credits to achieve a full Extended Diploma (3 A-level equivalent). This qualification will form part of a study programme which will include exclusive access to our Sports Academy and Enrichment programme Maths & English Tutorial support Work Experience and development of employability and study skills.
