Name: Media Studies AS/A Level Qualification title: Media Studies AS/A2 Level Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment The final mark is made up of two exams, one at the end of each year, and two coursework portfolios. The AS exam is two hours long and broken into two sections, TV Drama and the Music Industry. The AS courseowrk is practical with a choice of magazine or video production. At A Level the structure is identical, with the exception of content. The exam focuses on Media in the online age plus, Media and collective identity. The A2 coursework is centred on music videos.
