You will gain a fascinating overview of oil painting focussing on its key role in Western Art, discover its versatility, ingredients, processes and techniques. A diverse range of artworks will be studied. This course will include study of influences and narrative. Sessions will be varied and interactive with extensive use of projected images, video, music, books and internet and learners will be encouraged to contribute to the sessions through discussion, group work, sharing experiences and reviews of exhibitions
