Name: Level 2 NVQ in Food Preparation (P/T day) Qualification title: NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery (Preparation and Cooking) (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment The NVQ Level 2 Diploma is a basic cookery programme completed in unit sections, 3 or 4 weeks per unit until completion. A portfolio also has to be produced in order to obtain this City and Guilds Qualification. The Learning takes place both in theory and practical classrooms. The classrooms are modern with up to date equipment. Assessments are on-going weekly throughout the year, but some more structured assessments take place at different points in the programme.
