The programme includes a variety of engineering topics, providing a broad understanding of engineering disciplines. Units you will study include:- four core units: Using/Interpreting Engineering Information; Electrical & Mechanical Science for Technicians; Working Practices in Engineering; Mathematics for Engineering Technicians. Students can also choose four specialist units which could include: Electronic Construction & Testing; Engineering Assembly Techniques; Personal Computer Hardware/Software; Computer Aided Drawing Techniques; Selecting Engineering Materials; As part of your programme you will also complete Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT at the correct level for your programme. You may also complete the wider Key Skills: Working With Others and Improving Own Learning & Performance.
