GCSE English is an essential qualification for both employment and further education. The skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening are vital in all aspects of life, and this qualification will help you use language to participate effectively in society and employment. You will explore a range of non-fiction and multimodal texts, and examine the ways in which language has been used to communicate the author's ideas, thoughts and feelings to the reader. You will also extend your own written communication skills by writing for non-fiction genres.You should already have achieved GCSE English at grade D or above. To be accepted on the course you must attend one of our information and assessment sessions where you will be asked to take a short evaluation test in order for us to assess the appropriate level for you.Enrolment will take place after assessment
