This full-time one year course will lead to an NVQ Certificate in Performing Engineering Operations, and a City & Guilds Certificate in Engineering (2850), both of which form the basis for all engineering qualifications and the ones which future employers will expect you to have.You will need to have 3 GCSE's at grade D or above including English and a Science, and Maths grade C (higher paper). You will also need to be able to work with figures, have good hand-skills and be computer literate. Candidates with GCSE passes at grade C or above may be exempt from Functional Skills.
