2581 AQA. You will: Unit 1 - two hour written examination. Topics include: Health, exercise and fitness, Nutrition, Cardio-respiratory system, Analysis of movement, Levers, Information processing, Learning and performance, Opportunites for participation, Provision of sport, Increasing participation levels, barriers to participation. Unit 2 - Practical coursework. In one sport you will be assess on your performance in practice situations in two out of the following three roles: Performer, Coach and Official. Unit 3 - two hour written examination. Topics include: Energy systems, Training, Sports injuries, Mechanics of movement, Personality, Anxiety, Attitude, Aggression, Confidence, Groups, Leadership, World Games, World class performance, Achieving excellence, History of sport, Deviance in sport, Commercialisation of sport. Unit 4 - Coursework. In one sport you will be assess on your performance in a competitive situation as a performer, official or a coach.
