H446 OCR Computer Science. Computers are all-pervasive in modern life and computer science is a discipline that has made this porrible. The Computer Science qualification will inspire and challenge students to apply the knowledge they gain, with the creative and technical skills they acquire. As well as learning how to program in both low and high level prgramming languages, the course provide the opportunity to learn about the structure of the processor, how programs are translted into '1s' and '0s' that the process can understand, database design, network infrastructure, modern web technologies and elements of law related to computer use.
