The ideal course for budding designers looking to take their work to the next level. The course covers a variety of areas of design ranging from photography and typography to advertising and animation. You will undertake a significant personal design project, working towards achieving a professional quality outcome. Graphic designers are visual communicators; creating and combining words, symbols, and images to dynamically and professionally express ideas and messages. This course aims to identify and develop new and exciting talent for this ever growing communications specialism. It is designed to explore a wide range of specialisms within Graphic Design, encompassing traditional and digital design and production skills and practices. You will experience the complete process by which graphics products are made: from briefing through to final presentation and production. Our staff are all current practitioners, including designers, photographers and illustrators and teams are supported by exceptional specialist facilities. The course allows for dynamic continuous assessment so you always know how well you are progressing throughout your studies. The course covers a wide range of areas, including: Photography Illustration Typography Packaging Advertising Editorial design Corporate identity Generating ideas Printmaking Computer graphics Web page design 2D animation 3D computer modelling * If you are 19 or over, depending on your circumstances, tuition fee on certain courses may be FREE. This course is eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan.
