The perfect introductory course for individuals wanting to work in childcare and education. Students will develop basic skills and learn more about the growth, learning and development of children. The course will teach you about children throughout their different stages of growth and development, and you will learn how to best support a child's learning. It consists of a variety of units, including 'Human Growth and Development', 'Supporting Babies to Play' and 'Healthy Eating for Families'. All of these units will be assessed using a variety of methods, ranging from oral questioning to designing charts and leaflets. There are also lots of creative classroom activities to participate in throughout the course, and the opportunity to undertake real work experience. Completion of this course also allows learners to progress to CACHE Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce Level 2.
