What will I do on this study programme? This study programme will give you the chance to explore your creativity and decide where your artistic strengths lie. It's a fast-track to university art and design study programmes and is an alternative to A Levels. You'll be able to use state-of-the-art facilities during the study programme and cover many areas of art and design including animation, fine art, printmaking, fashion and textiles, photography, graphic design, 3D design, sculpture and conceptual work. In addition you will also develop your literacy and numeracy skills and build your creative thinking abilities to enable you to take your studies further. How will I be assessed? We will assess your practical projects and written assignments throughout the study programme. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Art and Design, UAL Foundation Diploma. This is the second year of this study programme allowing you to specialise in an area of art and design, and is an excellent and highly regarded and recognised route to university A Foundation Degree in Graphic Design, Photography in Practice, Film and Media Arts Production, Games and Animation Production, or Contemporary Art and Professional Studies. Progressing to the relevant BA (Hons) top-up. These are all at Weston College in partnership with Bath Spa University and the University of the West of England Other related degrees such as advertising, animation, illustration, multimedia or photography.
