What will I do on this study programme? This study programme covers the Extended Diploma in Engineering over two years and has a good mixture of the core engineering subjects that give the academic grounding necessary for any engineering. The course has subjects with a practical focus e.g. understanding of manufacturing, control systems and materials science. All students will also have an opportunity to do 3D CAD moving through to 3D printing and prototyping. All students will continue with their studies in maths and English to ensure everyone is able to ultimately progress onto an apprenticeship or Higher Education. How will I be assessed? We will assess what your understanding and knowledge of each unit in a number of ways assignments, practical work and timed assessments. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Engineering, High National Diploma, Level 4 Engineering, Higher Apprenticeship, Level 4.
