What will I do on this apprenticeship? This apprenticeship would suit someone in a job role such as medical receptionist or junior medical secretary. Apprenticeships are all about learning on the job. You'll spend most of the week with your employer learning about business administration as you work, and come to college from time to time. You will need to complete a number of qualifications including Level 2 in Business Administration and a Technical Certificate in Business Administration by following the medical administration pathway. You will cover a number of units which could include work in a business environment, manage own performance in a business environment, produce documents in a medical business environment, make and receive telephone calls, meet and welcome visitors. How will I be assessed? We will assess your practical skills and observe you at work. Your personal assessor will visit you at your workplace to review your progress and make sure you are on target to get your qualifications. What options do I have after successfully completing? Progress to Business Administration, Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3 Business, BTEC Extended Diploma, Level 3.
