Throughout the course, students will study Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. Practical work is fundamental to Chemistry. Assessments take place throughout the course and students are given opportunities to become equipped with the essential practical skills required to continue in other science disciplines. This course is suitable for students who wish to pursue careers in medicine, pharmacy, chemical engineering, dentistry and many others.

Each exam paper includes assessment of practical skills alongside the theory learned throughout the course.
