Business & Tourism - Level 1

This is a brand new and exciting course which combines two disciplines and allows for progression onto level 2 courses in either Travel and Tourism or Business. This course is aimed at students who wish to develop an insight into business and administration and the travel industry and develop their personal skills and qualities to help them in their learning and future careers. Students will be involved in organising fund raising events and have the advantage of exciting trips on which to base their study. On this course you will: Develop a range of employability skills in both Business and travel and tourism Develop your study, IT and administration skills Develop personal skills and confidence through team building activities Carry out research into the world of business and tourism Complete assignments in both business and administration and travel and tourism

Name: Business & Tourism - Level 1 Qualification title: Certificate in Business and Enterprise (VRQ) Qualification type: Other regulated/accredited qualification Assessment A mix of internal and external assessments will take place in order to gain the two qualifications. These may include assignment work, presentations and role play, which will all be graded at a Pass.
