This course is appropriate for support teaching staffs who work under close supervision of a class teacher e.g. teaching assistants, classroom assistants and teaching support assistants etc. It is suitable for candidates who: support pupils with learning activities, offer care and support to pupils, assist with additional support needs and/or support the wider work of the school. OCR Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (QCF) In order to achieve the full certificate, candidates must achieve a total of30 credits. Mandatory units include child and young person development, safeguarding and welfare, communication and equality, diversity and inclusion etc.
