Bridge to Business, Admin & IT - Entry Level, Level 1

The course is designed to develop ICT skills, investigate career opportunities and develop work skills. The nationally recognised qualification gained is structured to allow learners to develop essential skills and knowledge in a supported environment and is suitable for learners with moderate learning difficulties and or disabilities. All learners are also given the opportunity to participate in an enterprise programme and sit a functional skill exam suited to their ability.

Learners are assessed on an individual basis by the tutor and through the verification of completed portfolio units. The online PDP system allows for the learner to log in and view their progress and targets so they are always aware of their achievement to date. Three annual reviews and regular staff meetings ensure that the assessment and review process continues to map individual progression.
