Edexcel Beginners Award in Functional Skills in ICT (E3)

The course involves studying for 2.5 hours per week and you will attend one class every week. You will learn computer basics such as security, managing files and folders and the features of computers today. You will learn about emails, the internet and how to use them safely. You will open a Word Processing document and learn how to format it. You will be introduced to spreadsheets, charts and graphs and simple presentations. By the end of the course you will have an excellent grounding in computers that will support you through the next levels.
