Learners interested in the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Hair Colouring Services will study theoretical aspects of the subject and apply them to practical tasks. The skills may include carrying out services such as; principles of hairdressing and barbering services, colouring and lightening hair, styling and finishing services and perm and neutralise hair. You may also take functional skills or GCSE qualifications in English and maths. You will undertake a programme of study in Learner Employment Achievement Programme - LEAP, and will need to undertake a minimum of 36 hours work experience in a hairdressing salon, during the course.
