The programme combines competence-based and knowledge-based qualifications and is delivered in the work place. The Retail Advanced Apprenticeship is comprised of the Retail Skills level 3 Diploma, the Certificate in Retail Knowledge level 3, and English and maths level 2 (exemptions may apply for this element). The competence-based element of the programme requires a number of units be completed, each attracting a designated number of credits. The units chosen are tailored for a variety of job roles such as senior sales assistant, manager or visual merchandiser.
