For the work based element of the course (NVQ) you will be assigned an assessor who will help you to identify the modules that best fit with your work and will visit you to assist in building a portfolio of evidence to show your competence. As this element of the course is tailored to the individual, the time taken can vary but as a guide, it should take around two years. For the College-based theory element of the course, you will attend College to study a Higher National Diploma in Business part-time for two years.
