The course involves Project 1 - The creative group - devised, Project 2 - Character alone - scriptwriting and performance, Project 3- Classical theatre, Project 4 - Contemporary Theatre plus Movement, Voice, film and radio, Music Theatre, Clowning and a major production. Year 1 modules include Academic Practice, Contextual Studies, An Introduction to Acting Processes, Movement for Actors, Voice for Actors, The Actor, Camera and Radio. Year 2 modules include Collaborative Project, Applied Acting, Applied Movement, Applied Voice, Research into Industry and Experimental Performance Practice. We enjoy extensive professional links with the industry including Curve Theatre, Leicester and The Royal Court Theatre, London. Students are now working in the industry as freelance artists, teachers, performers and directors.
