A - Level Sociology

UPDATED 20161028 08:32:55

Sociology A-Level will appeal to you if you have an interest in understanding the behaviour of different groups, and questioning the taken for granted assumptions of society. Throughout the course you will learn about the laws and norms of our society, as well as those who do not abide by them. Questions sociologists are interested in include: why are some people more likely to be arrested than others? Does violence on TV really lead to more violence? What is the true purpose of education? Within sociology you will learn that it is your social world that has shaped you into the person you are today. If you're interested in learning about that world, then sociology is the subject for you.
