If you are passionate about music and enjoy working in a creative, exciting environment, then this is the course for you. The course has pathways in singing, band performance and music technology (including DJ-ing) and you will have the opportunity to perform in several performances throughout the year. You will study within our fully equipped, dedicated music campus, Sam Newsom Music Centre, where you will develop personalised projects relating to performance and production. You will be encouraged to work on 'real world' projects, giving you the opportunity to perform to the public and submit songs to the programmes record label. You will learn how to compose, produce, perform, manage events, develop yourself as an artist and understand the business side of the industry. This qualification will allow you to progress to a Level 3 course upon successful completion.
