NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy - Massage (QCF)

This course enables you to obtain an internationally recognised advanced diploma qualification in beauty therapy which has given previous students the employment opportunities and skills needed to work in commercial beauty salons as therapists and senior therapists, and for those students who want more adventure, the career options of working in prestigious health spas on land or at sea on cruise liners. You will study both practical and theory topics covering a variety of advanced beauty skills such as: monitor procedures to safely control work operations, contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities, provide body massage treatments, provide Indian head massage, carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, provide stone therapy treatments, contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business, and provide self-tanning services (manual and spray). All learners will be expected to take part in 1-2 full weeks of work experience.
