Through drawing, designing and manipulating materials you will explore issues in depth and find ways in which to express your ideas visually. Examination is 40% of your marks - this is an externally set assessment. You will have preparation time followed by an 8 hour examination. A2 level: Coursework is 60% of your marks - you will choose your own project to explore in depth and produce several finished textile pieces and a critical study, which will be part of the research done for the practical work.
