You will develop your musical identity and broaden your musical repertoire',' giving you the skills to confidently progress into the many different fields that the music business offers. Alongside instrument tuition',' we cover the music business',' theory and history',' composition and songwriting',' to ensure you have the opportunities to develop a comprehensive set of skills. This culminates in a major music production',' where you publicly perform music and songs written by you and your band members. This course is designed for people who are serious about having a professional music career',' and focuses on ensuring you have the practical skills and knowledge of the music industries required for success. This course will prepare you for progression into higher education or employment in the music industry. Entry Requirements: Five GCSEs A*-C Grade',' must include English and Maths or a Level 2 First Diploma in Music',' with C Grade GCSE in English and Maths. You will be required to attend an interview and complete a task and audition to demonstrate your level of ability. Your enrolment depends on a positive recommendation or reference from your school or tutor. Career Options: Move onto a higher education progression or progress into the music industry.
