Duration: 1 year This is an introductory course designed for young people interested in a career in the caring sectors. This course is designed to provide you with the underpinning knowledge',' understanding and skills required for a career in the Care industries. The course requires you to study a range of career options in the health and social care and Early years environments and helps you choose which pathway to specialise in at Level 2. All units will be individually internally assessed using a range of methods',' which could include written assignments or tasks. You will also be required to undertake a 60-hour work experience placement as part of the course. You will study English and Maths as part of the course',' whether at a functional skills or GCSE level. Entry Requirements: You need GCSEs in English and Maths at Grades E or above. You will be interviewed and a place on the course is subject to a DBS check and a positive reference. Career Options: You could progress on to a relevant Level 2 course.
